Introducing WEX Engine

By David Long | November 3, 2008

At Zeraphina we have just completed the development of our new platform independent free text analysis engine.

The WEX (WEb eXperience) engine has recently been deployed into the wild powering the taliored news site www.thedailybrowse.com

Our new WEX Engine performs live user behavioural analysis and presents the most meaningful and relevant editorial content, products and advertisements to a user visiting a site, increasing site returns and sales potential.

“Search” & “browse” are the two fundamental activities online. When someone knows exactly what they are looking for, they search for it. When they don’t they browse.

Browsing holds the golden opportunity for a recommendation system. The user is not focused on finding a specific thing, they are open to suggestions.

Decisions determined by the WEX Engine can be used to target users with specific products, push relevant editorial content or to promote specific advertisements. Results can be used to define an optimal click-stream path for individual users through sites.

The WEX engine is platform independant (for use on web, mobile and digital television platforms) See WEX’s features in detail here.
